Position
Summary:
Reports to Director of Hotel Operations.
Supervises and communicates the operational activities of the following departments by providing multi-hotel leadership at each of the Pelham Hospitality locations, including Housekeeping & Laundry, Valet, Shuttle (Guest and Employee), Event Setup and Hotel Support while ensuring successful execution of the Pelham Hospitality vision and overall business strategy.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
In partnership with Director of Hotel Operations- The Supervisor of Hotel Operations is responsible for continuous improvement in service standards and property wide operational execution.
Maintains standards of guest service/cleanliness/organization/property appearance Maintains effective communication with all Pelham Hospitality Departments including communicating regularly and proactively with the Director of Hotel Operations Promote a positive work environment and maintain exemplary morale as a member of the Pelham Hospitality Leadership Team.
All other duties as assigned.
Team Member Management:
Mentors and motivates direct reports to manage their current responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
Support and encourage professional career development within staff and promote growth opportunities.
Ensure scheduled team members are present and prepared to deliver adequate service to guests throughout shift.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift (range from 8-12 hours).
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Housing may be available.
